Job Description/Responsibilities

We are seeking to attract an energetic Inventory Coordinator (Battery Operations) who will help to drive efficiency and safety in battery management. Lead inventory control, optimize storage, and ensure top-tier customer service and equipment operation. Explore this opportunity further. Job Responsibilities: • Organize and maintain the storage area, adhering to design principles and suggesting improvements. • Assist the manager with building and inventory security. • Conduct safety inspections to minimize risks associated with battery handling and report any needed repairs. • Operate equipment in battery operations according to standard guidelines. • Log and report all incidents or accidents involving equipment. • Uphold health, safety, hygiene, and security standards in the division. • Ensure employee safety and report any issues. • Monitor and appraise employee performance as scheduled. • Ensure compliance with safety gear requirements and proper handling of inventory by labourers/contractors. • Foster teamwork and maintain a productive, harmonious work environment. • Address challenges through problem-solving and negotiation. • Schedule and record battery charging. • Verify and receive incoming shipments through second counts and checks. • Segregate and report damaged or suspected batteries. • Conduct monthly inventory counts, reconcile variances, and maintain accurate records. • Inspect inventory condition regularly and ensure up-to-date file maintenance. • Manage unsold stock and arrange for stock refreshing to minimize product failure. • Coordinate prompt deliveries and communicate with branch and road sales teams. • Oversee picking, checking, and delivery processes for wholesale/retail orders. • Handle battery returns and ensure adherence to delivery protocols. • Liaise with the Logistics Team to coordinate customer deliveries. • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the battery operation area. • Prepare and provide relevant reports. • Conduct safety inspections and address risks in battery handling. • Log and report incidents involving equipment and battery operations. • Manage scheduling and record-keeping for battery charging. • Coordinate with customers on stock issues and delivery timeliness.

Job Requirements

Qualification/Experience: • Associate Degree in Business Administration/Electrical Engineering. • Three or more years of experience with the handling of batteries. • Exposure to the use of Microsoft Excel and Word. • Knowledge of warehouse/distribution management procedures and best practices.
