Job Description/Responsibilities
The Route Sales Representative is the face of Bert's Auto Parts during daily client interactions. This role empowers you to think like an entrepreneur, providing the opportunity to service our valued clients and ensure their businesses are properly stocked with the products they need to thrive. Responsibilities: • Identify and establish relationships with new customers within your assigned geographical area, becoming a trusted partner in their business success. • Re-engage with dormant customers (those who haven't purchased in the last six months), reigniting their interest and renewing their commitment to Bert's Auto Parts. • Proactively seek referrals and uncover new sales opportunities, driving growth in your territory. • Consistently achieve or surpass sales targets, demonstrating a results-driven approach to your work. • Ask insightful questions to diagnose and solve client problems, positioning yourself as a go-to resource for their needs. • Compile and document customer feedback in detailed reports, backing your insights with data and actionable facts. • Generate and submit monthly reports, including a thorough analysis of your sales pipeline, as requested by management. • Actively promote and execute company marketing efforts, maximizing the impact of promotional activities in your assigned area. • Stay vigilant to market activities, providing formal reports with strategic recommendations to keep Bert's Auto Parts ahead. • Suggest creative marketing and promotional strategies to boost sales and deepen customer loyalty. • Represent Bert's Auto Parts at industry seminars and external events, with the goal of expanding our customer base and driving sales growth. • Complete your assigned route weekly, maintaining regular communication with your manager to update on client interactions and service outcomes. • Ensure that every customer and prospective customer experiences top-tier service, reinforcing their choice to partner with Bert's Auto Parts. • Align your daily activities with quota achievement, managing your sales pipeline as a strategic portfolio. Job Requirements
Qualifications/Experience: • Demonstrate exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, utilizing these tools to enhance your work. • Have at least 3 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success. Other Requirements: • You must own a reliable motor vehicle to perform your duties effectively.
